Rancho Penasquitos Senior Living is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of resident apartments, common areas, equipment, and grounds. You will work as part of a team to keep environments safe, clean, and comfortable for residents.

The ideal candidate has basic maintenance knowledge, a willingness to learn, and strong commitment to safe, courteous service for residents and staff. This position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Competenze

• Previous general maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs is a plus.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry maintenance supplies and equipment as needed.

• Assist with general maintenance repairs and upkeep throughout the community.
• Perform basic repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and hardware replacements.
• Assist with preparing resident apartments for new move-ins, including painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep.
• Conduct routine inspections of resident apartments, common areas, and community facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of indoor and outdoor areas.
• Help maintain landscaping, walkways, parking areas, and other exterior spaces as needed.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies when necessary.

• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
