We are currently seeking motivated and member-oriented individuals to join our team as a Maintenance Assistant.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance team in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of all the Credit Union buildings, property, and equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and contributing to a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
2. Troubleshoot lighting fixtures to repair tomb stones, ballasts, bulbs, and related equipment.
3. Use a variety of hand tools and power tools, voltmeters, to troubleshoot and make repairs.
4. Patch and paint walls, ceilings, barriers, drive-up curbs, parking spots, etc.
5. Monitor, update and self-generate maintenance log tickets for required work. Basic computer skills will be required.
6. Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and maintenance materials used at each location while performing maintenance and repairs.
7. Respond to telephone, cell phone and text messages for emergency assistance in repairs.
8. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a professional manner.
9. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. One year to three years of similar or related experience.
3. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
4. Valid driver’s license is required, must have the ability to drive a company vehicle.
