Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in Hampton, IA is hiring a part-time Maintenance Assistant. You will perform repair tasks throughout the facility and help schedule outside contractors for extensive repairs.

You will also monitor equipment and maintenance schedules and perform routine maintenance on systems. The role requires a High school Diploma or equivalent, prior maintenance aide experience, and an unencumbered Driver's License (Class D or Commercial as required by Iowa).

Qualifications

• Prior Maintenance Assistant experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
• An unencumbered Driver's License or other motor vehicle operator license as required by the State of Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair tasks throughout the facility to ensure proper operation of equipment and systems.
• Assist with scheduling of outside contractors for extensive repairs.
• Monitor facility equipment and maintenance schedules; perform routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Utilize as a Driver to transport residents to appointments and as needed.
