Care Initiatives is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for part-time days across more than 40 skilled nursing communities in Iowa. The role supports a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repairs to keep the facility safe, clean, and comfortable.
• Monitor and maintain building systems, including heating, cooling, and equipment.
• Maintain outdoor areas, walkways, and grounds, including snow/ice removal as needed.
• Assist with heavy cleaning, floor care, and facility upkeep when needed.
• Follow safety policies and support inspections and preventative maintenance.
