Job summary

Clay County Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant Technician to keep the facility safe and well-maintained. You will perform repairs, assist with refurbishing projects, and help with safety inspections, while also supporting the Transport Driver for resident appointments.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 2+ years in maintenance or related trades. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Current Driver's License in good standing is required.
  • 2+ years in building trades, maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with facility upkeep tools and software is essential.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with refurbishing projects.
  • Maintain grounds for a safe outdoor environment.
  • Keep equipment and building systems well maintained for resident comfort.
  • Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills.

Looking for qualified Part Time Maintenance Assistant and Part Time Driver to join our team!

Location: Clay County and Rehabilitation

Job Type: Part Time- typical days Mon, Wed, Fri

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a Maintenance Assistant Technician to join our team and ensure our residents live in a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. Major Responsibilities
  • Perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and assist with refurbishing projects.
  • Maintain the facility's grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant outdoor environment.
  • Keep equipment and building systems properly maintained for resident comfort.
  • Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills to ensure compliance and security.
  • Help our Transport Driver on resident appointments
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Driver's License in good standing
  • 2+ years of experience in building trades, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software is essential to effectively carry out tasks related to facility upkeep and repair.
  • Knowledge and skills Preferred for the position are:
    • HVAC
    • Electrical
    • Plumbing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
