Lakeside Book Company in Willard, OH is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant for our Buildings and Grounds Department. The role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure smooth facility operation.

The position offers rotating 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts, with starting pay of $21.25/hr and a $2.00/hr shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus benefits including medical, dental/vision, paid vacation after 30 days,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and HVAC units as needed.
• Paint, patch, and maintain walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including landscaping and snow removal.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance task to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.

Starting Rate:

$21.25/hr. with a $2.00/hr. shift differential when working 2nd and 3rd shifts!

Work Hours:

Rotating Shifts (Every 6 weeks) - 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, 11PM-7AM

As a Maintenance Assistance in the Buildings and Grounds Department, you will:
