Job summary

Lakeshore Manor Nursing & Rehab is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for residents and staff.

You will perform general maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks, help maintain building and grounds, and respond promptly to requests while assisting with preventative maintenance and safety inspections. Depedable team member with hands-on approach encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repairs experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus.

What You'll Do

No two days are exactly the same! You'll assist with a variety of maintenance and repair needs throughout the facility, including:

General maintenance and repairs

Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting

Maintaining the building, equipment, and grounds

Responding to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely manner

Assisting with preventative maintenance and safety inspections

Helping ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and enjoys working with their hands. Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or general repairs is preferred, along with basic knowledge of building maintenance.

Healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required. If you're mechanically inclined, have a strong work ethic, and take pride in your work, we'd love to hear from you!
