Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Financial Services LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for their facility in West Des Moines, Iowa. This part-time role requires 15-20 hours per week and includes on-call duties every other weekend.

The Maintenance Assistant is essential for ensuring the physical aspects of the facility are maintained, performing a variety of repair tasks, and assisting with equipment and system upkeep. Ideal candidates will have at least a high school diploma and previous experience in a skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Prior Maintenance Assistant experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring facility physical aspects are in proper working order.

• Monitoring facility equipment and systems maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Assistant you are instrumental in ensuring the physical aspects of the facility are in proper working order. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony West Des Moines by performing repair tasks throughout the facility, assisting with scheduling of outside contractors for extensive repairs, monitoring facility equipment and facility system maintenance schedules, and performing routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Qualifications

As a minimum, a High school Diploma or equivalent. Prior Maintenance Assistant experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
