Full-Time Maintenance Assistant Opportunity

Taylorville Skilled Nursing and Rehab is looking for a full-time Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team. If you have a passion for helping others and want to work for a skilled nursing facility that treats its employees like family, we would love to hear from you.

Our Maintenance Assistant contributes to the daily maintenance operations for our facility. You will be performing the repairs, alterations, and maintenance of our property to ensure a high sense of well‑being and aesthetic appeal for residents, families and staff.

Your Job

• Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance.
• Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervisor.
• Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.

Who You Are

• High school graduate or GED.
• 2+ years of experience (Have other qualifying experience? We want to hear from you!)
• Motivated and organized team‑player with strong problem‑solving skills.
