Job summary

Hillspring is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance director in organizing, directing, and supervising the operation of the facility's power plant and maintenance program. You will coordinate activities with other departments to ensure smooth facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic facility repair of property, equipment and grounds.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on facility equipment (excluding services under contract with outside contractors).
• Run errands, handle incoming/outgoing freight, lift and move heavy furniture and equipment.
• Provide routine inspection of property and equipment and maintain adequate records of work.
• Occasionally on-call for emergencies as needed by Administrator and Maintenance Director.

Come join our team as a Maintenance Assistant at our state of the art, skilled nursing facility. The position works with the maintenance director to assist with organizing, directing and supervising operation of power plant and maintenance and repair program involving buildings and grounds. Coordinates maintenance and repair activities with functions of other departments.

Hourly Rate - $15.00 to $20.00 per hour with an opportunity to develop into a Maintenance Director
