Job summary

Oakmont Gardens in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a hospitality focused Temporary Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will perform general maintenance duties and respond to service requests, helping to keep our community safe and welcoming.

The ideal candidate speaks English, communicates well, works with other departments, and is familiar with Microsoft Office. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30am–12:30pm; wage ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• The ability to speak, read and comprehend English.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Good inter-department communication and teamwork.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties, such as fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
• Receive service requests and respond in a timely manner.
• Perform painting and refurbishing projects as directed by supervisor.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
• Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.

• 1. Perform general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
• 2. Receive service requests and response in a timely manner.
• 3. Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
• 4. Perform routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
• 5. Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
• 6. Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• 1. The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language

• 4. Capable of administering employee incentive, retention and training programs
• 5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products

Wage: $18-24 depending on experience

Willing to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm
