Job summary

River City Care Center in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe, clean, and comfortable for residents and staff.

You will perform routine tasks, assist with minor repairs, maintain equipment and grounds, and support the Maintenance Supervisor with preventive maintenance programs.

If you are reliable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and able to multitask under pressure, you will thrive in our collaborative team and contribute to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers/dryers and emergency generators.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance principles and safety.
• Clear communication and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
