Job summary

Aspen Point Health and Rehabilitation in Saint Charles, MO seeks a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, functional, and appealing. You’ll inspect and repair building systems, coordinate routine tasks, and respond to staff requests with a service-oriented mindset.

This hands-on role requires independent work and teamwork, attention to safety, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a Skilled Nursing environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Commitment to high standards of customer service and safety.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
  • Help maintain the overall safety and functionality of the facility through timely repairs and preventative measures.
  • Ensure the facility meets all safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
  • Perform maintenance-related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director.

Maintenance Assistant

Are you skilled in maintaining and troubleshooting building systems? We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help ensure the functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in Skilled Nursing facilities and a proactive approach to solving problems. This hands-on role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Overview

As a Building Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring our facility operates smoothly. You’ll be responsible for inspecting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, coordinating maintenance schedules, and responding to requests to provide a safe and well-maintained environment.
