JLL in Richmond, VA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support day-to-day upkeep across multiple trades, participate in preventive maintenance, assist with event setup, and coordinate with vendors. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and operational efficiency of the facility. This role involves performing routine maintenance across multiple trades‑such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting‑while assisting skilled technicians and ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment. The Maintenance Assistant actively participates in preventive maintenance, facility inspections, event set‑up/tear‑down, furniture relocation, and coordination with third‑party vendors, while maintaining accurate work documentation and inventory. Strong collaboration with the facilities team and client‑focused service are critical, making this position essential to sustaining smooth operations and a well‑maintained campus. Qualified candidates demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated compensation for this position: 60,320.00 - 66,560.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
