Richardson Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a talented Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The primary purpose of the Maintenance Assistant is to ensure the highest quality and cleanliness of resident care, support staff, and establish a positive community reputation while upholding Eduro Healthcare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results. This position is responsible for maintaining the facility.

Daily Pay Available

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:

• Report to Maintenance Director/Supervisor
• Make minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, emergency lighting, fire alarms, extinguishers, HVAC filters, lifts, and supplies.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Operate in the TELS platform system for all Life Safety, regulatory, and daily tasks.

Must be able to operate equipment such as garden tools, snow removal tools, carpentry tools, plumbing tools, painting tools, electrical tools, HVAC equipment, housekeeping tools, appliance repair tools, general maintenance tools, and vehicles like vans or trucks, as well as ladders.

Maintenance Assistant Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
• Completion of orientation as per company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment (if required).
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Criminal background check clearance.
• Proof of identity and employment eligibility within three days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
