Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance, especially HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Current Driver’s License in good standing is required.

Job Overview

Welcome toOak Meadows, located in beautiful Oakdale! From our spectacular senior living campus to our dedicated staff, we are committed to delivering excellent care, engaging activities, and a strong community for our elderly residents.

We are looking for aMaintenance Assistant to join our senior living team. This position will monitor preventative maintenance programs and repair building systems and equipment. They will also train other building staff, as needed, on basic trouble-shooting of building systems and equipment. The schedule includes;

• 80 hours every two weeks
• Full time, 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Weekends as needed
• On call every 3rd week

Responsibilities:

• Basic maintenance and safety awareness
• Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, staff, vendors, visitors and supervisors.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to respond to tenant/visitor/staff medical emergencies in accordance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current Driver’s License (in good standing)
• Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems
• One to three years of previous experience

Preferred:

• High school Diploma/GED
