Susquehanna Health and Wellness Center is currently hiring for a Full Time Maintenance Assistant. We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic candidates to join our exceptional team of caregivers!

The role focuses on facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing and plant systems, with an emphasis on safety and reliability. You will work in a team-centered environment that supports SHARE values and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school education or GED.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices in nursing facilities.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Experience with Zero Turn lawn mower preferred.
• Experience with snow plowing/blowing preferred.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and plant maintenance.

Requirements of the Maintenance Assistant:

• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma.
• Must be knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures in nursing care facilities
• Previous experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility Preferred
• Experience using a Zero Turn Lawn Mower Preferred
• Experience Snow Plowing/Snow Blowing Preferred
• Experience with Electrical, Plumbing, and Plant Maintenance
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
