Job summary

Susquehanna Health and Wellness Center is hiring for a Full Time Maintenance Assistant to support maintenance across nursing care operations. The role seeks compassionate, enthusiastic candidates to join a team of caregivers and maintain facilities to high standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and knowledge of maintenance practices in nursing facilities; prior SNF experience and skills with electrical/plumbing/plant maintenance are preferred.

Requirements of the Maintenance Assistant:

• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma.
• Must be knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures in nursing care facilities
• Previous experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility Preferred
• Experience using a Zero Turn Lawn Mower Preferred
• Experience Snow Plowing/Snow Blowing Preferred
• Experience with Electrical, Plumbing, and Plant Maintenance
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
