Job summary

Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at New Wilmington is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Assistant to perform routine maintenance on grounds, facilities, and resident areas, ensuring a safe, clean environment.

The position offers a day shift with a starting wage of $16.00 hourly. You will follow maintenance schedules, replace bulbs, assist in department operations, and perform duties as assigned. A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc. by cutting, trimming, etc. as necessary or directed.
• Helps maintains facility by repairing walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, windows, removing trash, etc.
• Moves furniture in order to complete assignments
• Follows maintenance schedule/instruction from supervisor and as outlined in established maintenance policies and procedures
• Replaces burned out light bulbs, to include exit lights, overhead lights
• Assist in smooth operation of maintenance department
• Perform other duties as assigned.
