Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living in Meridian, MS, is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support daily upkeep, safety, and appearance of our senior living community. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with preventative programs, and handle minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented setting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of facilities experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to respond to occasional emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repair of building systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programs.
