Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining the facility grounds and assisting with general maintenance inside and outside the facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in mechanics, carpentry, electrical, painting, etc. (minimum 1 year)
• Ability to interpret written or oral instructions, diagrams, or schedules
• Organizational skills to meet work demands
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English
• Ability to perform essential job functions and physical requirements
