Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elizabethtown, PA is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to perform basic maintenance and minor repairs, assist with painting, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks. You will complete work orders promptly and help keep common areas and resident spaces clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or laundry in a healthcare setting or long-term care is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time well.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and infection control.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with painting, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks
