Job summary

Westbury Center of McDonough for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to uphold the facility's safety, cleanliness, and comfort for residents and staff. The role focuses on routine upkeep, basic repairs, and attentive service in a compassionate environment.

The position runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities to contribute to a supportive team and growth paths. Prior LTC exposure is preferred but not required, and a high school diploma is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic wiring, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and orderliness of buildings and grounds.
• Maintain and repair basic functions of the center.
• Manage tools and equipment, such as HVAC filters, and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Provide compassionate service to residents, families, and staff.

• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements for Maintenance Assistant:

- Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) is preferred, but not required
