Job summary

Westbury Center of McDonough for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe and well-maintained. You will perform routine repairs, handle basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, and ensure a welcoming environment for patients, families and colleagues.

We offer a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and financial security.

Qualifications

• Previous LTC experience is preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
• A strong willingness to learn and contribute to the team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair basic functions of the center.
• Manage tools and equipment such as HVAC filters and perform minor repairs.

Requirements for Maintenance Assistant:

• Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) is preferred, but not required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
