Job summary

Azria Health Park Place in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep resident areas safe and well-maintained. Hours Monday-Friday 9a-5p or 7a-3p with on call every other week.

You will operate floor machines, uphold safety, coordinate with the Maintenance Director, and support housekeeping while providing reliable, quality service to residents.

Qualifications

• Experience with floor machines and safety awareness required.
• Must maintain high performance and safety across all areas.
• Equipment must be clean and in working condition at all times.
• Willingness to learn and be reliable with schedule adherence.
• Must have reliable transportation and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Report unsafe or unusual conditions to Maintenance Director.
• Report to Maintenance Director; demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor and Maintenance Director.

• Must be experienced with floor machines, a keen eye for details, and be knowledgeable of safety.
• Maintain a high level of work performance & safety in all areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Must be able to work as a team member and have a love for the residents.
• Solid work ethic, with quality customer service, and others in mind.
• Must be reliable & keep to schedule & must be willing to learn.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Report any unsafe or unusual conditions to Maintenance Director.
• Report directly to Maintenance Director with strong leadership skills.
• All other job related duties as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor & Maintenance Director.
