Job summary

LifePath is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Building and Grounds Supervisor in maintaining our Pennsylvania facilities. The role includes prioritizing work requests, scheduling tasks, and performing skilled trades to keep machinery, buildings, and equipment in good repair.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with on-call responsibilities. LifePath offers an excellent benefits package including health coverage, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, holiday pay, a 401(k),

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma/GED and 1 year maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend English to understand work assignments and LifePath policies.
• Able to perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical and repair work.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a clean 3 year driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Building and Grounds Supervisor in maintenance of LifePath's facilities.
• Prioritize work requests, select and schedule work to be done.
• Perform skilled tasks in repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, and equipment (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, welding).
• All training done on site.

Salary: $23.10 Annually

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, including on call responsibilities

Maintenance Assistant include but are not limited to assist the Building and Grounds Supervisor in the maintenance of LifePath's physical facilities and their environment. In addition, prioritize work request, select and scheduled work to be done, perform various skilled tasks involved in the repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, and equipment as needed, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and welding tasks.

Building and Ground Supervisor qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED, 1 year experience working in the field of maintenance. Able to do basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical and repair work
• At least 18 years of age
• Have a valid driver's license with a clean 3 year driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to read and comprehend English language to understand work assignments, LifePath policies and procedures, and perform job safely
