Job summary

American Medical Administrators MGMT Company is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support keeping facilities safe and functional. The role includes 7:00AM-3:00PM with on-call rotation and hands-on duties across trades.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry repairs; respond to work orders, complete routine inspections, and help ensure compliance with safety codes. Strong work ethic required for independent or team work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Reliable, self-motivated; able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance duties including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building codes.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours on-call maintenance as needed.
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and pest control.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.

• Valid driver’s license preferred (depending on facility needs).
