The Heights Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Broadview Heights, OH!

In a healthcare setting, our Maintenance Team plays an important role in keeping our building safe, comfortable, welcoming, and well cared for for our residents, families, and employees.
As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll work alongside our Maintenance Director and facility leadership to help with the day-to-day upkeep of our building, including:
Assisting with general building repairs and preventative maintenance
Completing routine maintenance work orders
Helping maintain resident rooms and common areas
Assisting with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry needs
Performing routine inspections and identifying areas needing attention
Helping maintain the exterior and grounds of the facility
Assisting with equipment and facility upkeep
Responding to maintenance needs throughout the building
Supporting safety, compliance, and emergency preparedness efforts
Pitching in wherever needed to keep our facility looking and functioning at its best
Is dependent, organized, and takes pride in their work
Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team
Is comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
Has general maintenance or handyman experience
Has basic knowledge of building repairs and maintenance
Understands the importance of safety and attention to detail
Enjoys working around people and contributing to a positive environment
Previous maintenance experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, assisted living, or a similar setting is a plus, but not required.
