Looking for a qualified Maintenance Assistant to assist the Maintenance Director.

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Major Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing staff when performing routine assignments in living areas.
• Assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving.
• Maintain the facility grounds.
• Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for comfort and convenience.
• Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills as needed.
• Contribute to creating and implementing innovative, responsible healthcare practices that continually improve systems and processes for superior results.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a building trade helper, apprentice, or similar role preferred.
• Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to performing high-quality work.
