We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to help maintain our facility and ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance and repair needs of our facility, including equipment, systems, and physical infrastructure. You will work closely with our maintenance team to complete routine maintenance tasks and respond to facility emergencies as needed.
Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Assistant:
Performing routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facility equipment and systems. Assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of building fixtures, furniture, and appliances. Conducting regular inspections of facility grounds, buildings, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely resolution of issues. Assisting with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of facility grounds. Participating in facility safety programs and training initiatives to promote a safe working environment for staff and residents.
