Job summary

Twin Oaks Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Director of Maintenance in keeping the facility, grounds, and equipment safe and well maintained.

This full-time, on-site position requires reliability, basic painting, grounds work, and clear communication in English. Prior experience in maintenance in a healthcare setting is preferred.

The Maintenance Assistant will assist the Director of Maintenance in maintaining the grounds, painting, maintaining the facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, to assist in ensuring that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times. Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED
• One year previous experience in grounds-keeping, painting and overall maintenance skills

• Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly, maintain resident confidentiality, treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect
