CHC Addiction Services is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area dedicated to treating, inspiring, supporting, and empowering individuals and families impacted by addiction.

We are seeking a motivated, conscientious, and dedicated full-time Maintenance Assistant to help maintain CHC facilities.

Duties Include:

• Maintaining CHC parking lots by removing snow, leaves, debris, and trash.
• Performing light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, cleaning windows, repairing furniture, moving office and equipment, and restocking supplies.
• Pressure washing CHC buildings and walkways as directed by the supervisor.
• Housing unit cleanout and preparation for move-in readiness, including painting and cleaning as needed.
• Assisting with landscaping maintenance as needed.

Starting rate of pay: $17.00/hour

The normal schedule is 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours for projects or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry large objects.
• Good driving record and valid Ohio Driver’s license.
