JLL is seeking a motivated individual for the Maintenance Apprentice position in Chicago. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building operations and learn under skilled technicians.

You will assist with the operation and maintenance of critical building systems such as HVAC units and boilers. This position operates under the Operating Engineers Local 399 collective bargaining agreement and requires a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Referral or coordination through the IUOE Local 399 Trainee Program required.
• Must meet physical requirements for trade work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operating and maintaining boilers, chillers, HVAC units.
• Perform routine checks and help troubleshoot mechanical failures.
• Learn and follow safety guidelines and building codes.
