Job summary

Core Linen Services, a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing, is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice for the 1st Shift in Oak Creek, WI. You will perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, assist with preventive tasks, and help keep equipment running smoothly in a high-volume plant.

The role requires teamwork, safe operation of tools, and basic knowledge of machinery and conveyor systems.

Qualifications

• Must be team oriented and able to function individually or with team.
• Must operate tools and equipment safely and follow safety procedures (lockout/tag out, confined space entry, working on hot equipment).
• Must have a good working knowledge of machinery and assist with maintenance of drive systems, conveyors and overhead rail systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance activities on equipment as scheduled.
• Ensures timely and quality completion of maintenance and repairs, including overhead rail and conveyor systems.
• Assists technical personnel and outside vendors as needed.
• Maintains the maintenance log with updates on tasks and new problems.
• Notifies Production Supervisors on status of equipment affecting production or downtime.
