Job summary

Vivmark Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician Apprentice. You will train with our property management team to learn essential maintenance skills across HVAC, plumbing, appliances, and electrical work over 14 weeks, with a path to promotion to Maintenance Technician.

You will work with experienced staff, perform supervised on-the-job tasks, operate light equipment, and learn the software tools used by the service team to support resident operations.

Qualifications

• General ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies after-hours and on weekends when assigned.
• Valid driver''s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating a vehicle.
• Computer literacy and effective communication skills; must communicate in English for all work purposes.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Smartphone required for certain job aspects, with company security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Train with the service team to learn HVAC, plumbing, appliances, and electrical work over 14 weeks.
• Observe, learn, and understand maintenance skills and processes.
• Operate light equipment for basic repairs under supervision.
• Perform tasks independently or with a team as training progresses.
• Learn relevant computer software applications used by the service team.
