The Maintenance and Workforce Support Specialist provides administrative, coordination, and documentation support for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) maintenance and workforce programs. This position centralizes scheduling, recordkeeping, inspection documentation, training support, and cross-department coordination activities to reduce administrative workload on supervisors and field leaders.
- Maintain the master inspection and maintenance calendar and track completion of scheduled activities.
- Review, organize, and maintain inspection and maintenance documentation, including photographic evidence, to support reporting and audit readiness.
- Enter, update, and reconcile inspection, maintenance, and corrective-action information within work order and asset management systems.
- Identify findings, trends, and outstanding corrective actions related to inspection and maintenance activities and track items through completion.
- Schedule, prepare, and facilitate inspection and maintenance review meetings; develop agendas, document outcomes, and track action items.
- Coordinate inspection, maintenance, corrective-action, and training-related workflows with other departments.
- Monitor workflow progress and follow up on pending items to support scheduled work.
- Track employee training assignments and completion status and notify supervisors of overdue or incomplete requirements.
- Assist with employee testing activities, including scheduling, facilitating, and proctoring assessments, in accordance with established program requirements.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records related to maintenance and workforce activities and perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
- Additional task as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative support for an electric utility or other skilled trades environment, including scheduling, documentation, or workforce coordination. Experience supporting maintenance, operations, or training programs is preferred.
Valid driver's license
