What will you do?

You will work in our distribution center with a top-notch automation system. We fulfill thousands of e-commerce orders daily across the US from our facility in NJ. You will be a key member of a talented and dedicated team experienced in managing operations and automation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance & Automation
  • Ensure operational efficiency of all automation and mechanical systems, including pick-to-person systems, robotic arms, sortation systems, conveyors, and printers, by reaching targeted KPIs.
  • Supervise, train, and coordinate maintenance department employees.
  • Complete repairs and maintenance in common areas and building interiors/exteriors as needed.
  • Manage annual repair and maintenance budgets.
  • Develop and improve infrastructure such as preventative and predictive maintenance programs, work order processes, inventory management, skills development, and departmental metrics.
  • Coordinate with external service providers like electrical, mechanical, and trades contractors.
  • Identify and implement sustainability-focused improvements to the facility and warehouse processes.
  1. Health and Safety
  • Implement and promote workplace safety and security policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA guidelines.
  • Lead safety policy implementation and conduct safety audits and reports.
  • Train staff on safety issues and conduct accident investigations with corrective actions.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in management, project management, engineering, safety, logistics, or related fields.
  • Experience with automation systems is required.
  • Experience with operations and OSHA compliance is a plus.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset with positive energy and genuine care for team members, suitable for a warehouse environment.
