Job summary

Dauch seeks a Maintenance and Facilities Manager for our Bowling Green, OH plant to lead the site Maintenance function, ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operation of equipment and facilities, and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with leadership on strategy, budgeting, and capital projects to support manufacturing excellence.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, plus 3+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education/certifications.
• 5+ years related Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
• 3+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the site maintenance strategy aligned with regional objectives.
• Lead the maintenance team with performance management, training, and planning.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet safety, environmental, and quality requirements, including TS 16949.
• Establish and maintain maintenance procedures, standards, KPIs, and work instructions.
• Manage the maintenance budget and monitor performance against targets.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Drive sustainable solutions to equipment breakdowns and recurring issues.
• Manage site utilities and infrastructure for reliable operation.
• Oversee contractors and external maintenance services.
• Maintain a cost-conscious spare parts management system.
• Partner with production to develop autonomous maintenance.
• Participate in site safety initiatives to reduce risk and incidents.
• Collaborate with Site Energy Manager to identify energy savings opportunities.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering on capital planning and projects.

Drive maintenance strategy, resource planning, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Serve as a key member of the site Leadership Team, providing strategic direction and operational support to achieve business objectives.

Job Description:

Required Skills and Education

• 5+ years related Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
• 3+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
