Job summary

Dauch Corporation seeks a Maintenance and Facilities Manager to join our Bowling Green, OH plant. This role leads the site maintenance strategy, drives equipment reliability, and manages safety and quality programs across the manufacturing floor.

You will oversee a team, coordinate with production, and ensure budgeting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives align with company goals. This is a hands-on leadership position at a key automotive facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the site maintenance strategy in alignment with regional and business objectives.
• Lead the maintenance team, including performance management, training, development, and organizational planning.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality requirements, including TS 16949.
• Establish and maintain maintenance procedures, standards, KPIs, and work instructions.
• Manage the maintenance budget and monitor performance against key targets.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Drive sustainable solutions to equipment breakdowns and recurring maintenance issues.
• Manage site utilities and infrastructure to ensure reliable and cost-effective operation.
• Oversee contractors and external maintenance services.
• Maintain an effective and cost-conscious spare parts management system.
• Partner with production to develop and improve autonomous maintenance.
• Participate in site safety initiatives to proactively reduce risk and prevent incidents.
• Partner with the Site Energy Manager to identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on capital planning, equipment specifications, installation, and project execution.

Required Skills and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education/certifications, and hands-on experience.
• 5+ years related Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
• 3+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
