Job summary

Marand US is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Lead to oversee maintenance of manufacturing equipment, facilities, and infrastructure in a fast-paced production environment. You will drive preventative maintenance programs, manage contractors, optimize facility operations, and ensure safe, reliable site performance.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will develop schedules, track work, analyze trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing maintenance and facilities in manufacturing/industrial settings.
  • Ability to manage contractors and service providers effectively.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and automated production equipment.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management software or CMMS.
  • Strong leadership and people-influencing skills.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.
  • Establish and manage a ticketing system for maintenance requests.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers for maintenance services.
  • Provide technical guidance to operations and build cross-functional relationships.
  • Advise Head of Operations on maintenance priorities.
  • Contribute to training operators in basic equipment care and maintenance.
  • Foster a positive team culture and safety-focused environment.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role

We are looking for highly motivated Maintenance & Facilities Lead to oversee the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, facilities, and infrastructure in a fast-paced production environment. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is responsible for driving preventative maintenance programs, managing contractors and suppliers, optimizing facility operations, and ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient site performance.

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve a preventative maintenance schedule that minimizes downtime and disruption to production.
  • Establish and manage a ticketing system for maintenance requests, ensuring clear prioritization, tracking, and communication of work.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers for maintenance, repairs, and facilities services. Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with company safety and operational standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise to operations.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with operations, quality, safety and engineering stakeholders.
  • Act as a key advisor to the Head of Operations on maintenance and facilities-related priorities.
  • Contribute to training and capability development of operators in basic equipment care and maintenance practices.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture and maintain a healthy team dynamic within area of responsibility and with other work teams.
  • Champion workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
