Job summary
Westlake Chemical seeks a Maintenance Project Controls Specialist to build and maintain Power BI dashboards that track maintenance costs, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs at our Sulphur, LA site. You will partner with Maintenance, Reliability, Finance, and IT to deliver actionable insights and improve data integrity.
The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and experience with SAP ECC. You will analyze data, drive cost control, and support system upgrades while promoting
Qualifications
- College degree preferred (Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field) with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with SAP ECC and data analytics tools.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel (Advanced), and data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to track maintenance cost performance, budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and trends.
- Develop standardized dashboards for maintenance and reliability cost performance, budget vs. actuals, variance analysis, outage cost tracking, and work management KPIs.
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from SAP ECC and other systems to support reporting and analytics.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, reduce manual processes, and improve data integrity and efficiency.
