Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a Maintenance Systems Specialist to oversee maintenance systems and processes, driving improved productivity, efficiency and cost performance through better utilization, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on system development and implementation, data management with KPI reporting, and leading cross-functional optimization efforts. It also includes training and standardization across sites, ensuring safe and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational or maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with CMMS/EAM, SAP and data analysis.
• Ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• System Development and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement maintenance systems and procedures to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance activities.
• Data Management and Analysis: Establish and maintain maintenance data, including equipment history, work orders, spare parts, and costs; participate in budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Continuous Improvement and Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance; standardize procedures and drive best practices.
• Training and Support: Provide training on maintenance systems and tools; develop user manuals and ensure knowledge transfer; drive standardization across sites.
