Job summary

Kerry Group's Evansville, IN facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment on the 3rd shift. This role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and paths to lead the maintenance team as needed.

You will perform electrical, controls, PLC work, complete PMs and work orders, and ensure safety and food safety standards while collaborating with production teams in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2‑year degree in Industrial Technology or Advanced Manufacturing (preferred).
• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.

Shift Information:1st Shift, Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM, possible daily overtime and weekend overtime.

Offering $2,500 Sign on Bonus! $250 after 2 weeks with no attendance issues, and $2,250 after 120 days!

What you'll do:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment while helping lead the team when needed.

What you'll need to be successful:

Education & Experience:

• 2‑year degree in Industrial Technology or Advanced Manufacturing (preferred)
• 5+ years of maintenance experience
• Food manufacturing experience preferred

Technical Skills:

• Advanced mechanical repair and general welding
• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
• PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
• Ability to work with low‑voltage DC and 120/240/480V AC systems
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic computer systems

Compensation Data

The pay rate for this position is $31.00 per hour.
