Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Maintenance 2 Custodian to maintain assigned buildings in a safe and efficient manner. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks including plumbing, minor electrical, painting, carpentry, and welding.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, read basic operating instructions, and write reports. This is an at-will, full-time position based in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate success in performing a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to, plumbing, minor electrical, painting, carpentry, welding, and all building maintenance.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports.

Desired

• Several years’ experience in building, construction and maintenance.

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

This is an “at will” position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law.
