Job summary

HumanGood in Yakima, WA, is seeking a part-time Maintenance 1-Helper to keep residents and common areas clean and safe. You will perform light maintenance, custodial tasks, and basic repairs, while supporting a friendly team.

The role requires up to 1 year in building maintenance, a HS diploma, and reliable attendance. You’ll enjoy a supportive environment with benefits and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of experience in a related field of building maintenance or construction, or relevant experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Attendance at a technical training institute or program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, resident spaces, restrooms, carpets, and floors.
• Empty trash, collect recycling, and keep the community grounds clean and free of debris.
• Complete maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, HVAC filters, batteries, faucets, switches, and other building components.
• Assemble and move furniture, hang pictures and blinds, and assist with community projects.
• Pick up and deliver supplies while keeping tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide friendly, timely service to residents while working safely and collaborating with your team.

Schedule : PART-TIME

• Monday - Friday at 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Pay range : $18.00-21.00 per hour depending on experience.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Would Have
