Qualifications

• Previous experience in facility maintenance work with an emphasis in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds, push, pull, and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc., up to 200 pounds.
• Flexible work hours to work beyond normal hours, weekends, holidays, and in inclement weather, when necessary.
• Must have your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning.
• Handle electrical routines such as replacing light bulbs, batteries on smoke alarms, and ballasts.
• Perform plumbing duties, including unclogging sinks and toilets, repairing faucets, etc.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
• Maintain an atmosphere that allows privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents, staff, and visitors in a safe and secure environment.
• Respond to off-hours critical calls to resolve facility issues.
