Job summary

Metz Environmental Services is hiring a General Maintenance Worker to join our facilities team on the first shift, Monday through Friday. The position offers a wage range of $19–$21 per hour and involves routine rounds, HVAC filter changes, painting touch-ups, drywall work, landscaping, safety drills, and generator testing to keep the site running smoothly.

We value reliability and a practical mechanical mindset, plus a valid driver’s license.

• Applicable experience

Responsibilities

• Daily internal & external building rounds and inspections
• Changing HVAC filters
• Touch up painting and minor drywall repair
• General landscaping
• Assist in running fire drills and other safety procedures
• Running and testing generators
• Inspect building equipment to ensure safety standards are met
• Identify and fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Complete work orders assigned by the department manager
• Other department tasks as assigned
