Milan Institute is seeking a Maintenance Person to ensure safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our school facilities. You will perform routine maintenance, repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and help keep classrooms and common areas clean.

Responsibilities include building repairs, grounds maintenance, safety inspections, and assisting with cleaning. The role requires a high school diploma, basic trade knowledge, and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in building maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events or emergencies.

• General Maintenance: repair plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment.
• Building Repairs: address minor structural issues including doors, windows, walls, and roofs.
• Grounds Maintenance: lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal during winter months.
• Safety Inspections: conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards.
