Job summary

HOTEL TYBEE is seeking a dependable maintenance professional to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities and equipment on Tybee Island, GA. You will respond to service requests and perform routine tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance, facilities, or related hands-on role.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Document work performed, parts used, and any issues that require follow-up.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures at all times.

Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented maintenance professional to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will help ensure a clean, efficient, and well-maintained environment by responding to service requests, performing routine inspections, and completing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
