Job description

Overview

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the full‑time position of Maintenance in Salina, KS. Company truck and tools will be provided. Up to 50% travel across the footprint is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on the company’s buildings and properties.
• Light plumbing repairs.
• Carpentry work with drills and saws.
• Electrical maintenance, including removal and installation of outlets, switches, ballasts, connectors, light fixtures, wires, and circuit breakers.
• Drywall work: removal/replacement of gypsum board, cutting for outlets, hanging nails or screws, sanding, taping joints, attaching metal corners.
• Manage maintenance staff jobs and responsibilities.
• Perform parking lot and grounds maintenance as required.
• Manage rental spaces and tenants.
• Snow and ice removal.
• Assist in stockroom or deliver supplies as required.

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous building and ground maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess appropriate verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Working Conditions

The physical demands of this position require the ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch to perform maintenance and repair tasks, climb ladders, operate tools, lift objects up to 50 pounds, and handle heavier loads with assistance. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for detailed work and safety awareness.
